KE2 Knowledge Exchange
Social Impact | Knowledge Exchange | KE2 | The College of Education for Pure Sciences (CEPS) is deeply committed to fostering positive social impact through a broad spectrum of knowledge exchange initiatives. We actively design, manage, and implement a wide range of outreach projects aimed at benefiting our local community in several critical areas, including education, health, information services, literacy programs, and community engagement. Our educational outreach endeavours encompass a variety of tutorials and workshops that are tailored to address the learning needs of diverse community groups, from children to adults, ensuring access to quality education for all. In health, we collaborate with local healthcare providers to offer informational sessions, health screenings, and wellness programs, thereby promoting health literacy and improving public health outcomes. Additionally, the College of Education for Pure Sciences (CEPS) places a strong emphasis on information services and literacy, offering access to digital resources, libraries, and reading programs designed to enhance literacy rates and foster a culture of continuous learning. Community engagement is at the heart of our outreach efforts, with projects aimed at empowering community members through participatory workshops, town hall meetings, and volunteer opportunities that encourage active citizenship and community development. Through these targeted outreach projects, we aim not only to share knowledge and resources but also to create sustainable partnerships with our local community, thereby contributing to its overall wellbeing and development. Our initiatives reflect our CEPS dedication to utilizing knowledge exchange as a powerful tool for social change, aligning with our broader sustainability goals and commitments. | |
